JADE BELT EARNS ALL-LEAGUE HONORS

State senior Jade Belt (Baltimore, Md./Perry Hall) earned
Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Second Team
All-Conference honors, on Tuesday.
Belt led the Bobcats (9-16, 8-10) this year in six statistical
categories. Belt snatched a total of 213 rebounds, averaging
8.5 rebounds a game and scored 377 points (15.1 points per
game).
In the AMCC, Belt was third in rebounds (160), fourth in
scoring (15.8 points per game) and eighth in steals (29). Belt
was also fifth in the conference in field goal percentage .536
(113-of-211) and in blocked shots (17).
Throughout the season, Belt posted nine double-doubles in
points and rebounds. Belt led FSU in scoring for FSU in 14 of
the team's 25 games.
Against Pitt-Greensburg, Belt posted a season-high of 30
points, making 13-of-18 field goal attempts (.772 percentage
average) and snatched 11 rebounds.
Belt helped the Bobcats finish the season 6-3, in the last
nine games, with wins over AMCC champion Penn State Behrend
and runner-up Lake Erie.
